Rev. Roberta D. Jackson's Bio


      Rev. Roberta D. Jackson was born September 10, 1954, in Cope, South Carolina, to The Late Mr. Booker T. Davis, Sr. and Mrs. Dora D. Davis. She is a retired mental health counselor with a Bachelor of Arts degree in counseling and a Master of Divinity degree. If given divine instructions from the Lord, she intends to pursue her doctoral degree. Rev. Jackson currently serves as an itinerant elder in the AME Church.

For the past eight years, Rev. Jackson has been actively preaching and sharing the Word of God. She has delivered sermons at St. Stephen AME Church in Fort Motte, SC, and Mt. Zion AME Church in Elloree, SC. Currently, she serves as the pastor of St. Peter AME Church in North, SC.

     Rev. Jackson often emphasizes spiritual truths such as "Satan has no power," "You have not because you ask not," and "No shame in my game." She is known for her strong belief in the power of the Holy Spirit and expresses it in her preaching. With her stylish sense of style, Rev. Jackson embodies a unique combination of humor and authenticity in delivering the Holy Word.

     Her character is marked by a giving spirit, particularly in her love and concern for children and their well-being. She also demonstrates a deep passion and compassion for the elderly. Rev. Jackson's generosity extends to anyone in need, as she is always willing to lend a helping hand.

     Among her favorite scriptures is Matthew 7:7-8, which states, "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened." This verse resonates with her belief in the power of prayer and seeking God's guidance.
